SCSI controller no - the C?

807559Mar 25 2007 — edited Mar 30 2007
I have two JNI cards installed:
"/ssm@0,0/pci@18,700000/JNI,FCE@2" 0 "jnic"
"/ssm@0,0/pci@19,700000/JNI,FCE@2" 1 "jnic"

the two controllers become c7 and c8. Disks attached to them have name c7t?d?s2, c8t?d?s2.

How does Solaris assign the number to controller? Is there a mapping table in system?
