Script to insert date from a specified range of periods

User579817-OCApr 23 2015 — edited Apr 24 2015

This is my situation. There is a thing call prorate convention in EBS Oracle Fixed Assets.

I have to do a prorate rule on a daily basis.

The first date starts at year 1942. I can do it manually but to continually press TAB on my keyboard it will take me more than 4 hrs to populate all the data up to 2015.

Therefore I need a script to enter the

START_DATE

END_DATE

PRORATE_DATE

Ex

START_DATE   01-JAN-1949   END_DATE 01-JAN-1949  PRORATE_DATE 01-JAN-1949

START_DATE   02-JAN-1949   END_DATE 02-JAN-1949  PRORATE_DATE 02-JAN-1949

START_DATE   03-JAN-1949   END_DATE 03-JAN-1949  PRORATE_DATE 03-JAN-1949

'

'

'

START_DATE   31-DEC-2015   END_DATE 31-DEC-2015  PRORATE_DATE 31-DEC-2015
