script needed to list backup file location & datetime

Hi,

db is in 10.2.0.4.0 ,Linux. backups are taken using rman at regular intervals, i need a script to list, all backup files to a file with only backup file location and date&time. i verified v$backup_files but shows none, list backup of database, shows me complete list of files with all the details, i need only full path of file, date&time taken.
how do i check my backup files are consistent and restorable.
