Scheduled Task Max Retries (OIM 9)

user243865Feb 23 2011 — edited Feb 25 2011
Hi to all...

When you manage a scheduled task you can set up the max number of retries a task should do before setting it in error state.
What the manual doesn't say is when those retries happen...

So, will it retry immediatly, after five minutes? next time it should have happened or what?

Lets say I have a task running every six hours, if it fails for some reason, f.ex. the customer is having a service window which makes it impossible to
run that task, when does it retry if I set it to retry more then once? (the default is 1)

Is there a way to get it to signal, i.e. email, when a scheduled task fails and gets disabled?
