scheduled task in Windows Server 2003

We recently upgraded our Server from Windows 2000 Advanced Server to Windows Server 2003.

All our Java applications are scheduled using Windows Scheduled Task Facility. They all scheduled to start at system reboot. They've been working fine with the Windows 2000 Advanced Server.

However, the Windows Server 2003 gives problem now. The java tasks did run at system reboot. But if someone logs in and then log out, all Java applications that was started by scheduled tasks exit as well. This never happend in our Windows 2000 Advanced Server.

We tried to run a hello world test program using both JRE 1.3.1 and the latest JRE 1.5.0 and they all behave the same way. It seems that the latest Windows Server 2003 gives more hard time to Sun's Java VM even using the latest J2SE 5.0

Does anyone have any idea?
