Saving Raw Packet Data into ethreal Pcap format

Hi all
In my project i need to save the packet content into ethereal pcap file .
The packect content is in hexa format i need to convert to ethereal pcap
understandable format.
Is there any API which does that or any other method to do that
Please help me
