Saving data from JSP to an excel file

Hi,
I have one JSP page and it will display some transaction details.
In that page i have one Save button.
Now what i want is... whenever if user click on Save button it will display save dialog box to save data in Excel format.
The excel file is meant to be saved on the clients machine.

How can i code my JSP to do that, saving a Excel file to client machine? I think Jakarta POI can assist me to save date to Excel but how do I call the Save Dialog Box from JSP?
