savepoint command error

Any ideas on how to solve this error, FRM:40512 "Unable to issue savepoint command". This error happens after saving 3 to 5 records and when i reset the form it would not happen until saving 3 subsequent records. Any suggestions pls. on how to go around this problem. Thank you very much.
