Hi Experts,
I have a use-case where the user should be able to save half filled form using save button to resume later and also be able to submit form for approval using submit button . Wanted to know if there is any best practice followed by apex for this purpose?
I am considering two designs.
Use of a special column in the table which identifies if the data is just saved or submitted.
Use of two different tables to have the data. Table1 would have the rows which are only saved. Once the data is submitted then the data would be moved to the master table table2.
Let me know if you agree with one of the above ideas or is there any other best and standard way to do it in APEX.
