SATA problem

807559Jul 30 2005 — edited Sep 9 2005
Hi everybody. I'm trying to install Solaris 10 x64 on my computer. I'm using an ASUS K8V-X with a SATA disk. When I'm trying to install solaris, before making the partitions it tells me that there is no hard disk. I've been looking around and I've found that some people got it to work with some motherboards (actually I haven't got notice that anyone has done it with my MB). Is there any workaround with my MBN or should I just give up?

This motherboard has a SATA-RAID controller: VIA VT8237

Thanks in advance!
