SarCheck report makes a statement I don't understand
807559Jun 26 2004 — edited Jun 28 2004In a sample report I was looking at today on today (http://www.sarcheck.com/sol60103.htm#RECOM), it says the following in the recommendations section:
"The ratio of exec to fork system calls was 1.00 : 1. This indicates that PATH variables are efficient."
Just curious if anyone knows what is meant by this. How does this "exec to fork system calls ratio" indicate anything related to the PATH variable ?
