For parent-child scenarios (e.g., condominiums, apartments, etc.), the traditional setup is to configure the parent service point’s HTU as Additive and the child service points HTU as Subtractive under the SA/SP page. Parent-child scenarios are usually implemented in high density locations and will be beneficial for utility companies servicing urban areas. The Philippines has over 169,000 condominium units. Cebu, where our customer is located, has the highest number of condominium units among other provincial residential hubs in the Philippines with 67,170 units.
There is a currently a 999 limit on adding of service points in the Service Agreement page. Many apartment blocks in Philippines will quickly exceed this limit. Our customer currently service apartment blocks with up to 1,600 apartments each.
Additionally, in terms of usability, there is no way to find a specific SP without scrolling through all SP’s. This is not user friendly. This will be particularly challenging once there are a high number of SPs. We suggest adding a search functionality to help users maintain this page.
This is a common page used by most CC&B and CCS customers so it would have a big impact if this page is improved. With the increasing number of customers worldwide, particularly in Asia, dealing with high-rise apartment blocks/condominiums, this would have a global benefit.
