I have installed oracle database 11g XE on win 7(x64) & I can't run multiple queries in it. but in my database lab where we use oracle db 9i which I'm not sure whether is XE or Enterprise version supports running multiple queries. i get an error - "ORA-00911: invalid character"
here's a screen shot :

i don't get any error in the lab if i run multiple statements together like above. they run just as usual & show u results. but it doesn't work in my system like that.... :(
if i run the queries one by one either by selecting them or just by making one query at a time then it works without any prob.

but this is time consuming & also boring. is there a way to get rid of it?
