running forms on applet window?

hi all,

not sure if its the correct term "applet window", but i've seen applications built using oracle forms but when run opens an IE that loads java and then opens another window (which i think is a java applet and acts like an MDI form) where all the forms are open.

when building a form, then testing it, it normally runs in IE. just would like to know how i can set up the application to run in a java applet window.
