Running EDQ jobs from Linux Shells Script

User_RF21CJun 8 2015 — edited Jun 9 2015

Hi,

We are on EDQ 11.1.1.7.3 with Weblogic webserver and Linux App Server.

I want to know how we can run the EDQ jobs from the Linux and write those commands in the shell script.

1) Submit the job (run)

2) Check the status of job to see whether the job is in running state or complete

I know in Windows, there jmxtools.jar utility for command line operations in dnDirector/Tools folder. But I am not able to find jmxtools.jar file in either of edq.home or edq.local.home directories in Linux install.

Can you guide me to the location where the jmx utility will be available in Linux and also the command to check the status of the job?

Thanks,

Ravi
