Running Catbundle.sql

Database 10g,11g,12c all version

OS:Linux

1. When we apply PSU patches after that we run "@catbundle.sql psu apply" what internally it does?

2. If i have a primary-DR configuration database and if i apply patch to standby first and run "@catbundle.sql psu apply" at database level in primary site without applying the patch to the ORACLE_HOME in primary site what will be the impact?
