runInstaller Hangs (???)

Hello,

Doing a fresh install of an Oracle 9i database on a Linux Red Hat Enterprise 3 (WS) server.

Created an OraHome1 folder in the root + other settings according to Pre-Installation set-up.

Getting a:

Initializing Java Virtual Machine from /tmp/OraInstall2004-08-16_04-04-41PM/jre/bin/java. Please wait...
/tmp/OraInstall2004-08-16_04-04-41PM/jre/bin/i386/native_threads/java: error while loading shared libraries: libstdc++-libc6.1-1.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Error message...

Any ideas ? What is going on ?
