Runing Oracle Reports on IIS

429994Sep 23 2004
Hi,

I'm trying to run the Oracle Report Manager Web Server on IIS 5.0 instead of the default Apache server.

I came across the IIS proxy on the OTN network and followed the following instructions at this URL:

http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/reports/htdocs/getstart/examples/Tools/thinclient/iis/Readme.html

However, I still can't get this to work. IIS can't find the page.

Here's my settings in the serverdef.conf file

oproxy.serverlist=everbright
oproxy.everbright.hostname=everbright
oproxy.everbright.port=7778
oproxy.everbright.alias=everbright
oproxy.everbright.urlrule=/reports/*

I'm running both Oracle 9i application server and the IIS on the same development machine called everbright.

Any ideas on what might be wrong?

Thanks!
