Run ADF Faces applications with IE 8 compatibility mode

Hi,

I am using JDeveloper 11.1.2.4.0.

I have seen many recommendations on the internet, but none seem to resolve the following:

What is the proper way to make ADF version 11.1.2.4.0 apps run in IE 8 compatibility mode, generating that following meta tag:
<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=8.0" />
