Run a Page Process on SELECT LIST WITH SUBMIT

Hi Friends,

Can some please tell me, how I can trigger a Page Process when a option is choosen in SELECT LIST. The Select List is of SELECT LIST WITH SUBMIT TYPE. I actually want to set a ITEM value in the process.

Another doubt is Should I use a PL/SQL Page Process for this situation or a Page Computation is good.

So far I have been running Page processes on BUTTON clicks only. Appreciate any help..
