RTR Reporting

i have RTR requirements,where we have flat view with all the required columns in the view to create the report. I have duplicated the view as fact & dimension and used the columns in fact to create the report.

My question is do i need to use only the measures from the fact and the remaining columns from the dim.Does it matter if i use all the columns from the fact to create the report.
