Hi,

I had installed OWB 10g R1 on my server machine having Windows 2003 Professional. Problem comes when I try to open Control Centre Manager. It give following error:

"RTC-5260: Failed to connect to control center, please check you have provided the correct host, user, password and service name.
RTC-5301: The control center service is not currently available"

I had done same installation on my local machine having Windows XP and it is working perfectly fine in it.

I had registered in metalink and they had send some solutions which didn't worked for me. Later on i got a work aound in OTN site. It stated to change Time zone of server to GMT (UK timing). I did the same and it worked.

Now the problem is changing time zone on server to UK, if the client machine is not in UK is a bit silly thing and this will affect lots of activities running on server machine. Can any body have any idea what the problem is and provide me a proper solution for this.
