RTC-5260 and RTC-5301 error in Oracle Warehouse Builder (OWB)

Samuel RabiniDec 29 2010 — edited Dec 29 2010
Hi,

I'm a newbie in OWB and I still have to fix some concept in my mind about the infrastructure.
I'm experiencing the error in the subject while deploying an object (the first object I'm trying to deploy) in OWB.
I installed the versione 11.2 on a Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.2.0.1.0 - Production With the Partitioning, OLAP, Data Mining and Real Application Testing options as repository

I tried to execute the $ORACLE_HOME\owb\rtp\sql\start_service.sql script but I got this error:

Role set.

Not Available
Diagnostics:
service startup failure using command "/u02/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/db_1/owb/
bin/unix/run_service.sh -manual 2 /u02/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/db_1 OWBSYS 19

+please invoke [owbhome]/owb/rtp/sql/service_doctor.sql for more information+

If it can help I executed the service_doctor.sql script; this is the output:

+Role set.+

+All PL/SQL packages and functions are valid+
+Platform properties have been loaded correctly+
+Platform location has been seeded correctly+
+NLS messages have been loaded correctly+
+>>>>>> The platform service is not available+
+Service script is accessible to the database server+
+Connection information stored within the repository is correct+

+PL/SQL procedure successfully completed.+

Then I checked the time zone data version of my JRE and this is the output:

JRE time zone data version: tzdata2010o
Embedded time zone data version: tzdata2010o

That's the last versione available.

Any suggestion is kindly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Samuel Rabini
