Hi,
So we were looking for a forum like feature to stream line a process of communication between QA and Dev teams. Beehive forum was one of the out of the box choice. But it seems like when a question is posted no one gets any notification through emails.
There is a RSS feed which we can subscribe to from the Recent Activity tab. So I created a custom one with filters and added to my outlook. It asked me for a username and password and took in the RSS feed.
But when I logoff or close the outlook looks like the authentication is lost and I get the following error.
Task 'RSS Feeds' reported error (0x80070005) : 'You don't have appropriate permission to perform this operation.'
Task 'RSS Feeds' reported error (0x80070005) : 'Synchronization to RSS Feed:"https://stbeehive.oracle.com/feed/rss/recent?source=334B:3BF0:wstm:61A02581C3744AF898DAAC1641B0E00400000000011C&show=c&link=https%3A%2F%2Fstbeehive.oracle.com:443/teamcollab/recents/RPAS-QA+Forum&title=RPAS-QA+Forum:+Recent%20Activity" has failed. Outlook cannot download the RSS content from https://stbeehive.oracle.com/feed/rss/recent?source=334B:3BF0:wstm:61A02581C3744AF898DAAC1641B0E00400000000011C&show=c&link=https://stbeehive.oracle.com:443/teamcollab/recents/RPAS-QA+Forum&title=RPAS-QA+Forum:+Recent Activity because of a problem connecting to the server.'
I tried to add username and password at the beginning like https://username:password@LINK/ did not work. Nor did https://LINK&os_username=kiran.k.shetty@oracle.com&os_password=password/.
If it was RSS 2.0 compliant it should have worked.
Any ideas how to workaround this issue?
