RPM's already installed yet shows failed dependencies
634488Apr 16 2008 — edited Apr 17 2008Hello friends,
I have been trying to install Oracle 9i R2 on RHEL 4.
I think most of the rpms are installed. yet while doing a pre installation check, I get failed dependencies error.
While forcing a --nodeps no dependency install for those rpms which has shown failed dependencies.. it says that the rpms are already installed.
Kindly advice. Is there any way to update the catalog... or library to the rpm, i hv issued the command ldconfig, yet it shows no sign of relif.
pls guide
Kind regards
