RPM confusion

Hi all,

I installed a rpm in OEL 4.5 by using rpm -ivh command, after installing the rpm i checked the installed rpm by this command rmp -q compat*.* but its showing the rpm is not installed ?

I have some confusion on selecting the RPMS from the site..

My OS is OEL 4.5 32 bit os.. for my OS what is the extension of rpms i have to download ? Kindly suggest me the sites if can !
