Ok I have a requirement that I need to round to the next whole dollar. I was just wondering if there was another way to do it than the way I was thinking.
EX:
432.01 => 433
550.59 => 551
select trunc(432.01) + 1
from dual
Is there a rounding option to do this rather than having to truncate and add 1? And yes I need the next FULL dollar amount, not the closest dollar amount. Sort of how cell phone companies round up your fractions of seconds to the next whole minute.
