here's my situation i have a a server in archivelolg mode i perform a backup incremental level 1 avery day and an archivelog every 5 hours , i restore the backup in the new server i would like to apply the archivelog by restoreing manualy.
is these command correct
sql> alter database recover until cancel using backup controlfile;
SQL> alter database recover continue default;
...
..
so how can i know that applied correctly the archivelog without open the database( select statmement to chack for example ), and until when i can stop performing "alter database recover continue default;"
