Role dependence on AD account

I am assigning access to an application based on roles I want to make available in the catalog. I need to make the availability of the role access dependent on the user being provisioned in AD. The application uses AD as an LDAP authentication source.

How do I go about getting this to work? or what options do I have or suggestions would you make??
