Rod Johnson's Book - "Expert One-on-One J2EE Design and Development"

Steve Muench has recommended this book several times in this forum (which is why I am posting the message here), and in checking out the reviews on Amazon, I noticed that they all have the following statement appended to them: "This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title. " But I don't see a later edition of THAT title. They sell another similar book, "J2EE Design Patterns Applied" by Matjaz Juiric et al, also by Wrox. Does anyone (Steve?) know the story behind the book(s)? Has the first book been discontinued? Is the second book a re-write with different authors?
