RMI and Threads

Hi,

We are bulding a server with RMI. We start the server as a Win 2000 service and then, we start clients which use RMI to access data to the server. We didn't implement the server with threads to handle multiple connexions as RMI seems to handle each connexion in a unique thread.

Our tests are successful with 4-5 clients, but will crash with 10 000 clients? Is RMI made to support a lot thread in heavy web traffic?

I know there are some questions about this subject in this forum but it's not clear yet. Our architecture is quite simple, we don't use EJB or things like that.
