RMAN with Netapp

I'm trying to decide whether we can move from user managed backups to RMAN and I need some advice.
Our main storage device is a Netapp, and we use Netapp's Snapshots for backup. Other than this, we have no other backups. We have no tape device nor the funds to buy one.

So, our daily backup routine consists of: Begin backup, take snapshot, end backup.

When I go over the RMAN documentation, it refers only to tape devices, and I have a hard time understanding how this will all work with our snapshots. Perhaps it can't work without tape device at all?

Any advice on whether RMAN is feasible in our enviroment and how it can be configured will be appreciated.
