rman ruplicate / recovery thru new data file addition

I need to refresh test system using backup of prod and using rman duplicate command...

here is the senario

prod db was back up completes at 4am , 9am new data file addedd to the prod db ... and i want to use 4am backup to restore and recover up to 4pm same day!!

here is error

RMAN-03002: failure of Duplicate Db command at 06/29/2013 11:23:52
RMAN-03015: error occurred in stored script Memory Script
RMAN-06004: ORACLE error from recovery catalog database: RMAN-20201: datafile not found in the recovery catalog
RMAN-06010: error while looking up datafile: 9

are there step by step guide to carry out such duplicate ?
