RMAN restoration is slow due to issues with NIC

The restoration is from a NFS mounted backup. The troubling host took 3 times longer to restore, we have checked the file server, and also DB on the host, and now narrowed down to the NIC interface. the interface is on the same JUMPO frame and non-routable network with NFS file server.

What steps should I go through to found out if there are any issues with the interface?
