Rman recovery asks for huge amount of archive
Dear Gurus,
db version - 10.2.0.4
we have restored a database to different server from a rman full backup taken at 4th of December.
When we try to recover this database it asks for huge amount of archive. (50 arcs even from 7 days back)
Can you let me know any reasons which causes this situation.
The process followed for restoration is similar to - http://dbtechno.blogspot.in/2012/11/restore-rman-full-backup-on-different.html (skipping table space, with renaming)
no errors are shown in the backup log.
Backup optimization is off.
No table spaces were made read only.
No block corruption.
