RMAN error

Hi all,

I am using catalog database RRC for my database TEST.In catalog database I am using the ASMwith two disk groups
DATA and FLASH.
This morning when I ran script to take backup of database test got the following error

RMAN-04004: error from recovery catalog database: ORA-00257: archiver error. Connect internal only, until freed.

I think I need to remove archive log files from catalog database.How can I do that as using ASM ?
