Hi,
read a lot about the RMAN with it's retention periods.
The question I am having is RMAN automatically deleting obsolete backups or should it be don via delete obsolete.
Same question for the FRA.
In some topics it is mentioned this is done automatically and in others I read this is a manual intervention.
Can anybody give me a clear answer on this one ? I do not see it happen automatically.
