Currently, my employeer has some SE databases in 12c version in the same server. I was asked to create an RMAN catalog database in the same machine, but I realized that since 12c a catalog must be an EE.
My question is, we need a license for EE RMAN catalog database which will backup and restore SE databases? Do you know any note from Oracle where explains or confirms this?
