RMAN backups to Windows share drive or NFS share for better performance

Hi Experts,

I have requirement to configure RMAN backups, I have Windows share drive and NFS share available for backups.

from both which is more optimistic at performance wise, could someone please provide me the documents if any.

Options I have, please advice which is good option.

1. RMAN backup to Windows share drive

2. RMAN backup to NFS share

Please note I have databases running on Linux OS, DB versions are 11gR2 and I have to take backups using catalog database.
