RMAN backup script 10g2

Hi,

Oracle 10g2
Windows OS

I want to use RMAN to schedule full database backup every night.

I have created one batch file containing RMAN backup scripts and will call this batch file from the windows scheduler.

but when i execute this batch file, RMAN starts in the command prompt but "backup database" command is not working...

what steps i am missing ?

can anybody please help me on this ?
