Hi Experts,
We have 11gR2 Db running on linux server with 5Tb of size. In general level 0 Rman takes 20 hr to complete and level 1 incremental takes almost 14 hr to complete. We are taking L0 on every Saturday and L1 rest of days. Today while we checked the L1 backup still running from past 14 hrs and till 38% of the backup completed. We have allocated 4 channels for the backup job. Can anyone help me to identify the issues and can share some knowledge how can we speed up the backup job. Load is normal in the Database with no blocking and deadlocks. Do i need to increase the Large pool?
or is there any way to speed up the backup. What i need to check to identify the original issue in the delay. Thanks in Advance.
