RMAN Backup Location need to change and delete obsolete

2684285Dec 11 2015 — edited Dec 16 2015

Dear Experts,

I am working on following environment,

Os: Windows server 2012 R2

Oracle Version : Release 11.2.0.1.0

RMAN backup Type : Cumulative ( Preferred by Management and i cant change this to Differential Backup)

My current situation,

I have configured RMAN and set H: Drive for Backup purpose and G: for Archivelog.

Recently my city has covered by flood water and server not run for a week so that we Level 0, Obsolete Deletion not run.

Currently there is no sufficient space to run one more level 1 and level 0, So that i should change backup location.

My Question are,

1) I need to change this Backup location from H: Drive to G: Drive to take backup successfully without space insufficient error.

2) After taken one more Level 1 and Level 0, As per my redundancy 1, RMAN mechanism should delete obsolete backup from both H: and G: Drive without failure.

Kindly help me how to achieve my need. It will help me more, Thanks in Advance
