RMAN backup for TDPO without catalog not working

Hi all,

We have configured IBM tivoli storage for Oracle backup(using RMAN).We did not configure Recovery catalog. Will tivoli support to keep the backups in tape without a catalog?

OS : IBM AIX 5.3
Database Version : 10.2.0.4
Tivoli client version : 5.5.0.0
Tivoli server version : 5.5.4.0
oracle API : 5.4.1.0
