RMAN backup failing using Networker RMAN-00309 ORA-27192 ORA-19511

Hello,

I am trying to do a incremental level 0 backup my database to a Virtual Tape Library for the first time and am using Oracle 10.2.0.1.0 and EMC's NetWorker 7.4. I have four channels allocated, and the backup sets seem to run along just fine until several hours into the backup, when I receive these errors in /nsr/applogs/msglog.log:

RMAN-03009 failure of backup command on oem_sbt_backups channel at <date> <time>
ORA-27192: skgfcls: sbtclose2 returned error - failed to close file
ORA-19511: Error received from media manager layer, error text: The NMO error message has been lost. Please set NSR_DEBUG_FILE and run NMO continuing other job steps, job failed will not be re-run.

I have set the NSR_DEBUG_FILE parameter but am still getting this error. Has anyone seen this before and have any suggestions for what to do next?
