RMAN backup failed

Hi All,

We are getting below alerts while we are taking RMAN backup of 9i database:

released channel: ch00
released channel: ch01
RMAN-00571: ===========================================================
RMAN-00569: =============== ERROR MESSAGE STACK FOLLOWS ===============
RMAN-00571: ===========================================================
RMAN-03009: failure of backup command on ch01 channel at 10/29/2012 09:04:59
ORA-19502: write error on file "bk_101253_1_797935914", blockno 3366913 (blocksize=512)
ORA-27030: skgfwrt: sbtwrite2 returned error
ORA-19511: Error received from media manager layer, error text:
sbtwrite2: sbtwrite2() failed.

Please help and advise if this is failed due to ORACLE database issue or this is a media or tape error.
