RMAN Backup Compression Algorithms?

Hi Experts,

Please help me, I'm a little confused here.

1. Which RMAN Compression Algorithm needs Advanced Compression license from the list below?

  • BASIC
  • LOW
  • MEDIUM
  • HIGH

2. I'm under impression that you don't need Advanced Compression License if you use BASIC COMPRESSION ALGORITHM, but I might be wrong please advise.
