RMAN Backup and TSM

mmaller0319May 22 2013 — edited May 22 2013
We normally take L-0 Hot backups for Non Production once in 7 days. The keep occupying space in TSM.

Once in 3 months our Non Production Databases undergo cloning from Production. The cloning happens via RMAN Duplicate.DBID changes.

Once the clone is completed,we dont need the backups of the older DBID and we start taking L-0 backups of the newer DBID.

How can we get rid of the non Production Backups in TSM for the older DBID. and reclaim space in TSM?
