Rman backup

Hi all,

i'm taking rman backups using recovery catalog. I just need the information on the backups whether it is successfull or failed using recovery catalog. can some one tell me the which data dictionary view i shud use in order to view this information. or else if any body know the sql query to select the information and put in the spread sheet.
