Hi,

Am I right about when we use a delete statement to clear a table, the high water mark do not come to the first segment/extent/block. Although, when we use the truncate table statement the high water mark comes to the first segment/extent/block?

If I am correct, when I use RMAN, and in all off my tables I have applied a truncate table statement, my backup piece will be smaller than if I have used delete statement?
