RHEL4 and Unbreakable Linux - are there differencies in binaries???

511303Apr 16 2007 — edited Apr 17 2007
Oracle claims that Unbreakable Linux is a clone of the original Rad Hat Enterprise Linux since both are built on the same source code currently freely downloadable from the Red Hat ftp site

ftp://ftp.redhat.com/pub/redhat/linux/enterprise/4/en/os/i386/SRPMS

as source rpm packages (RHEL4).

Who guarantees that Red Hat built its binaries on the same source code that was put on this ftp site to be freely downloadable? Is there any way to verify this?
